The Indiana State Fairgrounds is next to the Monon Trail in Indianapolis. The Indiana State Fair is the big attraction in August, but there are also many other events that take place here throughout the year, including Indy Fuel hockey games, concerts, expos and festivals.
Take the Monon Trail to approximately 40th Street for the Gate 18 entrance (yes, it is right off the trail!). You can also exit at 38th or 42nd Street for entrances to the Fairgrounds.
Biking to the Indiana State Fair? Bike parking is available near 38th Street at the historic Boulevard Station next to the trail. From the bike parking area, walking time is about 5 minutes to the 38th Street entrance gate. View the Fairground map to learn more.
