Indianapolis Art Center

The Indianapolis Art Center is next to the Monon Trail at 820 E 67th Street. The Center was founded in 1934 as a program to help artists during the Great Depression, but didn’t move into the current location until 1996. Be sure to check out the art classes, exhibits and special events. Fun fact for architecture fans: Michael Graves designed the building.

Exit the trail at 67th Street near the White River bridge. The nearest parking area is available at 75th Street, which is about a 20-minute walk away.
